VIRTUAL | Taking Control of Employee 1:1s: A Model for the Employee and the Manager
Whether you’re responsible for leading employee 1:1s or whether you’re required to give up an hour of your time each week to attend, 1:1s can be maddening. And, they also can serve a very important purpose. They are excellent grounds for mentoring sessions as well as company advancement.
This program is specifically for two types of people. First, if you are an employee who is frustrated with your manager’s lack of direction in 1:1s, you’ll find gentle ways to take charge and get where you’d like to go. Second, if you’re a manager and you’ve never been provided training with how to manage a 1:1, you’ll receive an easy-to-use model that will help you grow your direct reports.
This 60-minute program will be hands-on, and Laura will guide managers and employees through a model of employee feedback that can be driven by the employee or the manager! Gain the skills you need to better manage your next 1:1s!

Laura was a Professor at Rockhurst University for 18 years and currently holds the rank of Professor Emeritus. In addition to education, Laura was in HR Managements in private industry for 15 years.
