CANCELLED: DT | Accessing and Engaging with the Military and Military-Support Community - 11:45 a.m.
Do you want to engage with or do business with people with a military background? Do you know that Veterans who served in any era since WWII only make up 10% of our society? And, of all Veterans, half of them are no longer in the labor pool. If you are looking to engage in business with Veterans who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan in the last 15 years, that percentage then drops to less than 1%. With a market that small, do you know how to find, connect, and communicate with them?
When you do meet someone with a military background, are you able to create rapport and start building the Know, Like, and Trust relationship necessary to move to doing business with each other?
To turn the desire to engage and do business with the military and military-support community into outcomes that are consistent, positive, and measurable requires intentional action steps that must include understanding your audience (the military person). Do you know what you need to know to be effective in this market?
