Kimberly Young is the executive director of the Bloch Executive Education Center at the University of Missouri—Kansas City. Ms. Young has worked in multiple industries with world-class clients such as Coca Cola Company, H&R Block, Eli Lilly, Boeing, 3M Corporation, and Sprint. She has spent more than 20 years helping organizations grow revenue and optimize operations.
Prior to joining the Bloch School, Kimberly worked for the global consulting firm, Ernst & Young (Cap Gemini) and was national director of strategy, research and planning for global management services corporation ARAMARK. In her current role, as executive director at the University of Missouri—Kansas City, she builds relationships with the local community to create mutually valuable partnerships between academe, enterprise, government, and non-profit.
She is active in her community through board service and volunteer work. She is the immediate past chair of the board of the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City and serves on the board of directors for the Central Exchange. She has also served on the board of Alphapointe Association, Renaissance Theatre Project in Atlanta Georgia, Co-chair of the Kansas City Duke Club and a member of the Junior League of Kansas City and the Jackson County Missouri Links.
Kimberly attended Duke University where she earned a BA in Public Policy Studies and Cornell University where she earned an MBA as well as a Master of Management in Hospitality.
